ROSS CAISLEY 1985-2009
It is with the deepest of love and with sadness in our hearts, Wilf and Heather announce the passing of their son, Ross. He loved and was loved by his sister Leanne, his Grandpa Allan Ross, his aunts, uncles, cousins, and so many friends including his furry friend Mozie. So much was accomplished in a life too short. Ross was an athlete, coach, and teacher. He was blessed with many close and loving friends. Ross found a true passion in music and we will dearly miss the sweet sound of his voice and the notes of his guitar. So much potential unfulfilled - he was about to embark on his dream adventure of world travel before resuming his career as a teacher.
There were many lives that you touched through your coaching, teaching and everyday life and so many more you would have touched. Words cannot express our love for you as you travel to be with Grandmas Marilyn and Meg, Grandpa Wilf and sweet and loving Bandit. All are welcome as we celebrate Ross' life on Friday, October 9, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Celebration to be held at the North Kildonan Mennonite Brethren Church located at 1315 Gateway on the corner of Gateway Rd. and Springfield Ave.
Flowers gratefully declined. Donations can be sent to Believe in the Goal Foundation Inc. founded by his friend Todd Davison who went before him. This foundation supports children and young adults battling cancer and donations can be sent to 2500 Esselmont Ave. R2C 5H6.

"Ross played as a defensemen for the Winnipeg Sharks for the 2001-2002 and 2002-2003 seasons. In his second season, he was our captain. He was an assistant coach for defensemen for the Winnipeg Thrashers for the 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 seasons. He did this full time, despite also completing his last two years of an education degree at the same time. The kids absolutley looked up to him, and thought the world of him. He also was the gel that kept our staff together and having fun."
