CUP!
The
2010-2011 edition of the Winnipeg Thrashers captured the AAA Midget National
Championship on Sunday April 24th with a 3-1 victory over the London Jr.
Knights.
The title is Winnipeg's first ever
national championship and only Manitoba's 2nd. On their way to the
championship, the Thrashers claimed the MB AAA Midget championship with a
series 3-1 win over the Southwest Cougars and defeated the Prince Albert
Mintos 4-1 in the Western Regional final.

The Winnipeg Thrashers have
recently announced their staff for the 2010-2011 season. Taking over the
Thrashers is Dan Eliasson, who spent the past five seasons at the helm of the
Winnipeg Sharks AAA City Midget Hockey Club.
